About

A shared framework for corporate climate accountability.

The Climate Contribution Framework (CCF) was established to address a growing accountability gap: while companies increasingly disclose their emissions and transition plans, their overall contribution to global Net Zero remains fragmented, difficult to compare, and undervalued.

Origin of the framework

Co-initiated by Sweep and the Mirova Research Center.

Together, these organizations combine sustainable financial research, data insights, and operational expertise to build the market infrastructure that was missing: a robust, transparent, and scalable framework that goes beyond methodology to enable meaningful, comparable climate contribution across companies and sectors.

Sweep

Sweep is the leading sustainability data management platform. Its AI-powered software helps organizations understand all extra-financial data across their business and value chain to manage disclosure requirements and take action to meet sustainable business goals. Trusted by global enterprises and financial institutions including L'Oréal, Lacoste, and Hewlett Packard, Sweep is B Corp certified and recognized as a leader by Verdantix, IDC, and MEDEF.

Mirova Research Center

The Mirova Research Center is an excellence research center dedicated to enhancing methods and tools for sustainable finance, established in September 2024. Its goal is to support academic research through funding and promoting innovative, high-impact topics for the industry and society, creating a space for exchange between the academic world and the financial sector. MRC focuses on three areas: impact indicators for a just transition, investors' contribution to the SDGs, and AI & technology innovation for sustainable finance.
